WHAT IS BAGAN DATOK
In Perak, Malaysia, Bagan Datok is the district that faces southwest the most. There were roughly 70 300 people living there in the 2010 census. It has a 951 square kilometre area. The district is bordered in the northeast by Muallim and Hilir Perak and in the north by the Perak River, which divides Manjung and Central Park. In the south, the Bernam River divides Sabak Bernam in the state of Selangor. This region's Bagan Datok Town serves as its capital. Rungkup, Hutan Melintang, Hutan Melintang, and a projected city called Bagan Datok Water City are further places that are found in the district (BDWC). The most significant coconut sources in Perak are found in Bagan Datok.
HISTORY
Initially, Batu 11/2 in Kampung Pasang Api was the location where Bagan Datuk was established. It was once known as Sungai Keling, and it is currently where Bagan Datuk is located.
After receiving the permission of the Perak Sultan, Menteri Besar, and state secretary, Bagan Datoh was officially recognised as an autonomous Perak sub-district in January 2016. In order to separate Bagan Datoh from Hilir Perak, it was raised to a complete district on June 15, 2016. (Teluk Intan). The municipal tasks in the new district, however, continue to fall under Teluk Intan's purview. In August 2016, the Manjung District on Sembilan Island became part of the Bagan Datoh District.
Bagan Datoh will be renamed Bagan Datuk beginning on 9 January 2017, it was announced on December 29, 2016. Sekolah Kebangsaan Khir Johari, Sungai Sumun is one of the district's famous public educational institutions.
